Diving Southeast Asia- Vietnam – Cambodia - Thailand 16 Days & 15 Nights
DAY 1: SAIGON ARRIVAL
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon as it still known to many, Vietnam’s largest and most dynamic city. Our local team will greet you at the airport and take care of all your needs for the duration of your journey, you will then transfer to your hotel in the city center. A stroll along the way to your hotel, will take you pass the beautiful landmarks like Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office Centre, Opera House, and dozens of interesting new boutiques and local shops. Rest of the day is your leisure time to rejuvenate, and prepare for next day.
DAY 2: SAIGON – NHA TRANG
Today, we will make our way to the airport for a short flight to Nha Trang.
Nha Trang is only a 40 minute flight from Saigon. It’s well known for its lovely beaches, white sand, clear sky, and crystal blue sea all year round. Scuba diving has developed into a famous destination for international tourist. It’s around one hour from the airport to your hotel in the city center. Make sure your camera is fully charged to record the beautiful coastline! After hotel check-in, let’s warm up your day by visiting the Oceanographic Institute, the Cham Ponagar Tower or…lying on the beach is your choice.
DAY 3: NHA TRANG FULL DAY DIVING
Surrounded by steep, dark green hills, the city hugs a long curve of white sand beach and a bay as blue as a fancy cocktail. We will take a boat ride to start your morning for a memorable visit to different islands and various coral reefs. The turquoise waters around Nha Trang and the islands off the coast are almost transparent, making for excellent snorkeling and diving. All diving certifications are welcome. Want more certification? DAY 4: NHA TRANG RELAXING DAY
It’s your leisure time to laid back on the beach, enjoy the sun, sand, and the sea or deep your body in a mud bath, hot spring water to refresh yourself. Head to Vinpearl Amusement park for a day of ease and enjoyment with rides and a water park. They also have a beautiful aquarium there!
Day 5: NHA TRANG – DA NANG – HOI AN
After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will pick you up to transfer you to the airport for departure flight to Da Nang – the third largest city, and the major port of central Vietnam. On arrival, you will be warmly greeted by our local guide, then transferred to Hoi An – 30km from Da Nang to the south-west. Hoi An is one of the oldest cities in South-East Asia, recognized by UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage Site. A walking tour is the best way to see the living museum offering ancient Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture and traditional Vietnamese hospitality.
Day 6: HOI AN FULL DAY DIVING
Beside the cultural sites, Hoi An also offers you a great chance to get out of the tourist path with snorkeling and scuba diving on Cham island. Dive sites around the islands range from coral gardens and reefs, wild rock formations, and underwater pinnacles.
Day 7: HOI AN RELAXING DAY
On this day, you can choose many activities in Hoi An, such as hire a boat from the waterside by the market place for a cruise on Thu Bon river to visit the carpentry and pottery village; or rent a bicycle to ride between the nearby paddy fields; visit the My Son holy land – the imperial city during the Cham dynasty; or just enjoy a cocktail on the beach with a good book! In the late afternoon, we will transfer to Da Nang airport for a departure flight to Saigon.
Day 8: SAIGON – PHNOM PENH – SIHANOUK VILLE
Today will start with a flight from Saigon to Phnom Penh in the morning. After meeting our guide, you will be transferred directly to Sihanouk Ville – 235km southwest of Phnom Penh by private car. Sihanouk Ville offers splendid beaches with nice sand, pristine and tranquil water. Its charm results from a harmonious combination of mountains, islands, sea and beach, along with a mild climate, many scenic spots and an international seaport. After a long day of travelling, enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant featuring amazing Khmer cuisine along the beach before going to bed!
Day 9: SIHANOUK VILLE FULL DAY DIVING
In the morning, you will take a boat off-shore to a nearby island. Cambodian diving features less of the big species of fish found elsewhere, but much more diversity! Lots of lightly explored and completely unexplored destinations await you out there!!!
Day 10: SIHANOUK VILLE RELAXING DAY
Sihanouk Ville’s main attractions are its beautiful unspoiled natural beaches ranging from the popular Ocheteal, Sokha, Independent, Koh Pors (Hawaii beach) and Victory beach to the more isolated and natural Otres Treng beaches. It's really an unspoiled world and ideal for enjoying nature and a wonderful swim. Another well-known thing of Sihanouk Ville is the nightlife! The town-itself knows how to party and there’s no shortage of bars and hotspots. So, why not have a drink, and relax after an amazing day, you earned it!
Day 11: SIHANOUK VILLE – PHNOM PENH - BANGKOK
It’s time to say goodbye the little town to move to Phnom Penh for departure flight to bustling Bangkok. You have your (little) time here to feel the beat of Bangkok with your own drum!
Day 12: BANGKOK – KOH SAMUI – KOH TAO
Another amazing day is waiting for you! From Bangkok, take a short flight to Koh Samui, and then take a car + boat to Koh Tao. It’s a long journey, but it’s worth it! The diving paradise is waiting for you!
Day 13-14: KOH TAO
Are you ready to discover the diving paradise? You came to the right place, scuba diving is the biggest attraction on Koh Tao. These 2 days are your time to make some new friends with turtles, stingrays, barracudas, lots of small fish, reef sharks and more!
Day 15: KOH TAO RELAXING DAY
Today, you can either sail a boat the nearby islands, or make it to the Shark Bay to have a breathtaking view of the bay during the sunset time.
Day 16: KOH TAO – BANGKOK – DEPARTURE
